SEA OF CORTEZ
SAFARI EXPEDITION

JULY - AUGUST

Want to join us?

A dolphin swimming underwater in a clear blue ocean.

Expedition description

As the temperature rises in summer, many tourists depart, yet these months offer some of the best marine life sightings. We frequently encounter a variety of dolphin species, including the friendly bottlenose, common, spinner, and pantropical spotted dolphins, and is arguably the best time to spot the elusive Orca! Additionally, Sperm and Bryde’s Whales are visible in the warm waters. Coupled with crystal-clear waters (with visibility exceeding 30 meters/100 feet) and calm conditions on 90% of the days—virtually no wind—you can be assured of the best viewing conditions. With fewer tourists, there are also fewer boats, providing occasions when you might be the only boat with the marine life!!
