Currently, we're seeking a dedicated talented Video Editor & Social Media Manager to transform breathtaking footage of wildlife into captivating digital content that entices viewers and inspires them to join our tours. To start, this will be managing one account, but there is potential to manage three accounts in the near future.

About the Role:

In this role, you’ll work with stunning marine life footage to create engaging content for our social media platforms, helping us grow our audience and showcase the beauty of the natural world. Your creative touch will bring our adventures to life and connect us with like-minded wildlife enthusiasts:

Responsibilities

Video Editing: Edit short, attention-grabbing social media clips from our wildlife footage, incorporating transitions, color grading, and storytelling elements.

Social Media Management:

• Optimize profiles and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Plan and schedule weekly posts (minimum 4 per week: a mix of reels and carousels).

• Create daily tour recap stories and additional story content as needed.

• Creative Content Creation: Use your creativity to develop engaging videos, write compelling captions, and share fascinating facts about wildlife to spark audience engagement.

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Video Editing Expertise: Proficiency in video editing software with experience in transitions, storytelling, and underwater colour grading.

• Social Media Savvy: Experience managing social media profiles and creating visually stunning, engaging content.

• Background in Wildlife or Filmmaking: Knowledge of wildlife is a huge plus, enabling you to create meaningful, insightful content.

• Attention to Detail: A knack for making every video polished and professional.

• Creative Mindset: Passion for finding new ways to connect with our audience through storytelling and visuals.

What We’re Looking For

Commitment: You’ll need to deliver high-quality content consistently, with a minimum of 4 posts per week and daily recap stories from our daily tours. We will provide all content for you.

Compensation

Starting Salary: $500 USD/month, with potential for more depending on your skillset and contributions.

Working Conditions:

Remote work (unless you live locally or willing to move*): we will upload footage to the cloud, you will then download it and edit on your computer and then upload the edited video to the cloud and to all social media platforms.

The is project based, so your hours are not important, as long as you are delivering the goods on time then we don’t care when you complete your work :)
